The Bison Pan™, A Condensation Drain Pan
Named after the iconic bison that roam the American frontier, the Bison Pan™ is tough, rugged, strong, and American-made.
No Rusting Prevents Leaking
Made From ABS, A Thermoplastic Polymer, It Will Not Rust. The bottom-out and side-out designs facilitate the drainage of water and moisture, reducing any accumulation of standing water.
The Problem
Conventional HVAC drip pans allow water to pool causing rust and corrosion, even after a couple of months. Water in the traditional side-out drain pan must get to a certain level before draining out causing microbial build-up in the meantime. Leaking from the pan can seep into your ceiling and cause mold and mildew.
The Solution
Introducing the Bison Pan™, designed for efficient condensation drainage, featuring dual outlets at the bottom or side. Crafted from ABS, it ensures no standing water, rust, or leakage. With its durable build, you’ll avoid the hassle and cost of pan replacement, saving time and money over your A/C unit’s lifespan and beyond. Our patented drip pan, with a bottom-out drain, ensures thorough drainage and rust-free performance. For compact spaces, we offer a patent-pending side-out pan option. Explore our range of condensation drain pans, available in various sizes to suit most major HVAC unit dimensions.

Frequently Asked Questions For The Bison Pan™, A Condensation Drain Pan
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) is an impact-resistant engineering thermoplastic. It is an amorphous polymer. It is made of three monomers: acrylonitrile, butadiene, and styrene. It is a preferred choice for structural applications due to its physical properties. These properties include high rigidity, resistance to impact, abrasion, and strain. Used in electronic housings, auto parts, consumer products, pipe fittings, and toys.
As new and challenging applications are being developed for polymers and plastics, a parameter that helps define the temperature limit for use of that polymer is required. The continuous use temperature, also known as the continuous service temperature, is one parameter that is often quoted.
ABS Max. Continuous Service Temperature: 86 °C / 186.8 °F
ABS Ductile/Brittle Transition Temperature: -25 °C / -13 °F
ABS plastic is a biocompatible and recyclable material. It does not have its own plastic number. Products made with ABS use recycling #9. ABS is 100% recyclable.
